No Man’s Sky gets a really hefty update

The game sure was a disappointment when released last year. But is it time for redemption?

The developer behind the game, Hello Games, revealed all the details about the upcoming expansion to its space exploration sim. It delves into all sorts of things from multiplayer to new story missions.

The Joint Exploration coop idea seems the most exciting, although at this point it is limited to actually seeing another player who is visiting the planet you currently are on. You’ll be able to voice chat and travel together and not much else.

The video below recaps the most important part of, Atlas Rises, as the update is dubbed.
