We’ve known for some time know that Blizzard has started working on something regarding Diablo due to an official job posting on their sites, but it seems the story is getting hotter with this new Blizzard announcement:

Now what these “Diablo experiences” are? No idea! Blizzard is keeping Diablo 3 alive and kicking for as long as possible with the themed season, which, given the first one, will be the themed after the eponymous deadly sins: Greed, Wrath, Lust, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy and Pride (thank you Fullmetal Alchemist for being better at teaching me those than the Bible). Part of me thinks they might have jumped the gun with Greed as that one seems most fitting of what kind of game Diablo 3 is.

In any case, these projects could be anything at this point, but hopefully, and given the initial job offer specifying experience in designing levels, it’s probably something more substantial than DLC for Diablo 3. I will wager a wild guess and state here that I think one of those will be a game, but another one is going to be a Diablo movie. This one has long been speculated and while the Warcraft movie wasn’t received super well, it was still a commercial success. So yeah, a movie. You can quote me on that.

Brandy ends on a promise of something more substantial at the end of the month so I guess all that’s left is waiting in baited breath until the grand reveal. Until then I will be kicking demon ass with my well-functioning arms. Peace.
